Grab n Go rentals allow you to pick up and drop off your kayak or paddleboard at your convenience. Shuttle service is available for select routes—perfect for one-way river trips.
RIver Rules
For your safety and the protection of our rivers, all paddlers must follow the rules below when renting from the Coal River Group:
Minimum Age: All participants must be 6 years of age or older to rent or ride in a kayak or paddleboard.
Life Jackets Required: Coast Guard-approved life jackets must be worn at all times while on the water—no exceptions.
Grab n’ Go Rentals:
Available until 12:00 PM daily.
All boats must be returned by 3:00 PM.
Late returns will be charged an additional day’s rental fee.
Buddy System Recommended: For safety, we recommend paddling with a friend or in a group.
Respect the River: Please do not litter or disturb wildlife. Help us protect the Coal River for future generations.
Know Your Limits: Paddle within your skill level and be aware of river conditions before heading out.
